Canpotex has reached an agreement with China’s potash buying committee for standard grade potash shipments through to December 31, 2022, at a price of US$590/MT on a CFR basis.

“China has been an important market to Canpotex for 50 years,” said Gordon McKenzie, Canpotex President and CEO.  “We look forward to continuing our support of food security in China by providing our customers with a reliable and stable supply of potash to support China’s growing needs.”

Canpotex has also agreed to a potash supply contract with its long-term customer, Indian Potash Limited (IPL) for potash shipments through to December 31, 2022, at a price of US$590/MT on a CFR basis.

“Canpotex is committed to contributing to global food security in India,” said Gordon McKenzie, Canpotex President and CEO. “This contract provides a reliable supply of potash to our valued customer, IPL, and highlights Canpotex’s important role in supporting growing potash needs in India.”
